I'm old enough to not have to worry so much about my future, but the future of my sons and my grand-kids I do worry about. When I got married in the early 70's, one income was just enough to feed a family of 4, have a car and a home. Now it takes both parents working to just make ends meet. I've grown tired from the lies and corruption from our own elected officials. I only want an honest (small) form of government to take care of some things, but not to run every aspect of my life, from cradle to grave. Although many police are true heroes, you have some who are no different than the evil Gestapo of a past era. I see large beefy cops put young kids in choke-holds for doing something as evil as riding a skateboard on a sidewalk. I see big beefy cops repeatedly taser pregnant women, and even elderly ladies in wheelchairs. Are these ass-holes really that scared of children and old crippled ladies to have to resort to strong arm tactics? If So then they should not be in that line of work. NOT in MY America! Then there is the recent video of a group of male and female officers who held down a woman and stripped her bare naked in her cell, left her there, without even a blanket, and SHE was the one who called 9-1-1 for help! Terrorism from within from our own people against our own people. As I said, one is either the solution or the problem. "Just doing my job" is not a legal defense for crimes against people.
